General principles of the school

Every parent strives to ensure that their child not only receives a good education, but, above all, that they are happy. So that he or she comes home from school every day enthusiastic about what they learned, what they discovered, how much fun they had.

In 2023, a group of parents, therapists and the founders of the Ditero Foundation decided to take matters into their own hands and create a school. A place that is safe, open and gives space to experience education in a way that is in line with the students' own needs. And so, with the enormous efforts of parents, staff and supporters of the foundation, the school was born.

For a whole year, they worked hand in hand with various authorities to obtain the transfer of the building, and then for weeks on end, from morning to night, they renovated the school with their own efforts and resources. That is why today we are building the school together: the foundation's staff, teachers, parents and pupils, knowing full well the power of joint action.

What is our school like? Whether a child has special educational needs or not, parents want the same thing for them: a good education. That is the kind of school we are creating:

• developing passions,
• attentive to their own and others' needs,
• cooperative,
• open to dialogue at every level,
• based on relationships between students, teachers, parents.
